Hi Everyone!

I am a fairly tall, plus size lady, and I've ridden men's bikes for just about forever now. I am tired of them, and my dream is to own a genuine Terry women's bike! I really, really want the Susan B hybrid, as I do a lot of riding on both pavement and gravel where I live. The mountain bike I have right now is a men's bike, but it seems really small for me. I'm no expert on buying a bike, and I just feel like I need something "bigger".

I am about 5'10" tall, I weigh about 220 lbs, and my inseam is about 32" long. I am also short-waisted, my arms are not that long, and I have a large bustline. Although I am obviously a plus-size, I am pretty well-proportioned. Would the Susan B hybrid be a good fit for me? I'd love to be on something that has a nice, bigger wheel size. Mu current bike just looks so SMALL when I am on it!

Anyone else with this same issue? I don't want to ride a men's bike. I don't have that long reach...my arms are short. But I need something for my longer legs so I don't look like such a goof on a too-small bike!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Blessings,
Julie Benac

Hi Julie,

The 20" Susan B. would be the one to try. We keep the reach shorter on our bikes, so I think your short reach would benefit from that. The 20" has full size 26" mountain bike wheels front and rear. They will accommodate a variety of tires, so if you have a lot to choose from depending on your riding conditions.

As is, the bike would be perfect for pavement and hard packed gravel.

Good luck!

Georgena

Looks like you've got some spam again. How the heck are they getting past the number recognition thingy?
