Some of you may have noticed in our new catalog or on our website that we're now carrying Graeme Street's Cyclo-SPIN dvds.

Since I've been getting emails with questions about the programs, I thought it would be appropriate to open a forum so we can all share questions and ideas.

I have purchased the Mega package which includes the Cyclo-Core, Zen, and speed. I ordered them before I knew they were available from Terry directly. (Sorry!)

So, last night, I did 2 Cyclo Core circuits (body weight) the 8 minute power routine, and the fabulous stretch routine on the Cyclo-core DVD. Today, I can feel my quads more than usual, and my abdominals, too. But, I can go UP and DOWN the stairs without a lot of discomfort. I am really excited about getting the benefits of the program, and am looking forward to my fall rides while I am working my way through them. Look out Mt. Wachusett, here I come!

Thanks for spreading the word, I think this will be a terrific off season.

Cheers,
Wendy

Great! Does the Mega Package include a training program? You'll really need to do that to make sure you're doing things in an orderly fashion. I think Graeme may sell these separately.

Hi,
The package I have came with the 4 week hill climb, century and speed training plans. Since I live where I do, right now I am working on the hill climbing one. I'll end up ordering the off season plan later on next month.

So far, I have enjoyed it. Those Hindu squates are brutal!!!

I did a long 22 mile hilly ride on Saturday, and did it in 1:38, which beats my previous time by about 8 minutes. I felt like I was dragging the whole time, but I guess I wasn't after all...

I have a couple of good hills for my hill repeats, which is great. I'll check back in a few weeks and let you know how I do...

Yeah -- you feel those for about three days after you've done them. They really build muscle mass quickly, though. Mix that in with the Power Yoga, which supposedly is great for stimulating deep muscle tissue and you're set!

I totally missed this forum when I posted in the other "off-season training" forum. I've copied and pasted my question below:

Wow, why do I feel like I just got back from Aruba? What the heck was that??

Seriously, I have a question about the Cyclo-CORE/ZEN training programs. I want to order one, but would like more information about the difference between the Intermediate Low-Volume & Intermediate programs. Is the only difference the length of training time? If so, can you give specific examples?

Thank you!

Jane, look in the forum where you originally posted. I answered you there. And, I combined a couple of forums into this one to clear up the confusion!

My question is actually about Graeme Street's other offerings. I got on his email list and have read such great things about his vast offering of programs and info that I'm considering joining his club. Just looking for some objective opinions about the club and what others have gotten out of it. Thanks!

I don't know if I qualify as being objective, but I've used Graeme's programs for about three years and they absolutely work! He's influenced my training, my nutrition....all to great benefit. The Club is worth its weight in gold -- you can't possibly be disappointed.

And yes, if you go there from this link

Terry makes a cut. But as I told Graeme, even if I didn't make a cent, I'd still recommend him.

Yes, that's very helpful. I'm 56 years old, average about 50 miles/week, but can't seem to improve my performance or drop a pound (could probably lose 20-30 lbs and that alone would improve performance LOL). I'm no racer--just want to be able to do longer distances more comfortably, and of course to keep riding for years. So these programs look like they might give me some help.

Thanks for the recommendation!
